The Inspiration Behind This Piece: During my time participating in Hindu Diwali events, I had the privilege of helping my local Hindu community and befriending many wonderful local members. For many years, seeing their beautiful jewellery and vibrant clothes inspired me to create a necklace which reflected their choice of colours. I also wanted to interpret their love for plants by including a textured leaf shape. This piece was created from my inspiration in temporarily becoming part of a local community group that was rich in culture and inspired me to never be afraid to experiment with colour.
